THE MOST HORRIFIC GENOCIDE IN AMERICAN HISTORY.

Americanista

THE SYSTEMATIC EXTERMINATION THEY BURIED

From 1830 to 1850, the United States government executed one of the most systematic and brutal genocides in human history. This was not a "regrettable historical event." This was GENOCIDE - planned, organized, and executed with cold calculation.

125,000 NATIVE AMERICANS - the entire population of the five most civilized tribes in America - were forced to abandon their homeland. Not a few thousand. Not a few tens of thousands. But ENTIRE NATIONS.

Americanista

THE FIVE CIVILIZED TRIBES - DESTROYED BY GREED

CHEROKEE - They had their own constitution, their own press, their own education system. They were more civilized than those who killed them.

CHOCTAW - The first to be expelled in the winter of 1831. They walked through snow, chained like criminals, without food, without medicine.

CHICKASAW - Forced to pay for their own removal. They had to finance their own murder.

CREEK - 3,500 out of 15,000 people died on the journey. A 23% death rate. This is the definition of genocide.

SEMINOLE - The last to resist. They fought to the last man, the last drop of blood.

THE NUMBERS THAT WILL HAUNT YOU FOREVER

  • 125,000 Native Americans forcibly expelled
  • 16,700 people died during removal
  • 60,000 people displaced just during the main phase of Trail of Tears
  • 20 YEARS of systematic slaughter
  • 5 CIVILIZATIONS completely erased

THESE ARE NOT JUST NUMBERS. THESE ARE SOULS CRYING FOR JUSTICE.

THE CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE

Americanista

THE LIE THAT BUILT AMERICA

They called it the "Indian Removal Act" - as if it were voluntary relocation. They called it a "civilizing mission" - as if murder was civilized. They called it "Manifest Destiny" - as if God had ordered them to massacre.

BUT WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

This was the largest land grab in history. Andrew Jackson and his accomplices saw GOLD in Georgia. They saw fertile COTTON LAND. They saw MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in profit.

And they decided that 125,000 lives was the price to pay.

Americanista

THE SUPREME COURT SAID "NO" - JACKSON SAID "KILL THEM ANYWAY"

In 1832, the U.S. Supreme Court in Worcester v. Georgia declared that Native tribes were "SOVEREIGN NATIONS" and state laws could not apply to them.

What did Andrew Jackson say? "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it."

In other words: "I don't care about the law. I'll kill them anyway."

AND HE DID EXACTLY THAT.

THE TRAIL OF DEATH AND TEARS

Americanista

THE WINTER OF GENOCIDE (1831-1838)

Winter 1831, the Choctaw became the first victims. They were forced to walk thousands of miles in harsh weather. No food. No shelter. No medicine.

"CHAINED AND MARCHED IN DOUBLE FILE" - that's how one historian described the scene.

A Choctaw chief told an Alabama newspaper: "IT IS THE TRAIL OF DEATH."

Americanista

THE CHEROKEE HOLOCAUST (1838-1839)

In 1838, it was the Cherokee's turn. 16,000 people - including newborn babies, pregnant women, elderly who couldn't walk - were dragged from their homes by U.S. soldiers, pulled from dinner tables, from sick beds, from weddings, from funerals.

They were given 16 DAYS to pack up their lives. 16 days to abandon everything they loved.

Then they were forced to walk 1,200 MILES to Oklahoma. In winter. Without enough food. Without enough blankets. Without enough medicine.

4,000 PEOPLE DIED ON THE JOURNEY.

Americanista

THE CREEK MASSACRE (1836)

The Creek tried to resist. They fought. And they were massacred.

3,500 OUT OF 15,000 CREEK PEOPLE DIED.

A 23% death rate. By any definition, this is GENOCIDE.
